Preschool Lead & Assistant Teachers

Want to change the world, one child at a time, while being surrounded by fun, creative, like-minded people? The Orchard Academy at Mountain Top School, a private preschool in Warren Township, NJ (Somerset County), is currently looking to fill Lead and Assistant Teacher roles in various classrooms for the upcoming School Year. The full-time, in-person teaching positions include a normal 8:30am-4:00pm commitment with possible before and aftercare responsibilities. Candidates would be hired from September 1, 2023 - June 21, 2024 (with the possibility of 12 month employment with our summer program).

We are looking to add to our second-to-none team of educators that provide a high quality learning experience to all of our students, ages 3 months to kindergarten and everything in between.

Qualified preschool teachers and assistants should be certified teachers or have years of experience in the field of education, specifically early childhood education. Familiarity with the Creative Curriculum is a plus, as is experience working in various early childhood classrooms. The qualified teacher and assistant should be dynamic, creative, collaborative and willing to think outside the box while able to align our curriculum to appropriate developmental benchmarks and standards. A desire for continuing education and professional development is key. Excellent references are a must as is the ability to work normal school hours and pass state and federal criminal background checks.
